From about three to six I did some more homework, studied, relaxed, made friendship bracelets, and hung out with all the students here. Eventually it was dinner time and we even had dessert tonight, peanut butter bars with chocolate on top! I plan on spending the rest of my night studying a little more and watching a movie until I fall asleep. Today has been a great break from the constant non-stop activity I have had the past week, so it was very relaxing! I hope you all had a great Sunday as well. I made a video of the research center this morning so everyone could have a visual tour of my lifestyle as of now, but for some reason it isn't uploading on here so I'll try again tomorrow but otherwise will put it on facebook :) Here are a few pictures for now, some scenery from the center!
For the next month I will be posting on here the details of my trip at the Turks and Caicos Islands. Hope you all like it! :)

My Day Off!
Today I was allowed to sleep in! I didn't wake up until 8:45, compared to the normal 7! Then, I studied for my exam and did some homework readings until it was time for brunch. We has empanadas this morning, filled with spinach and cheese. It was soooooo good!! After that I relaxed some more until a group of us decided to go snorkeling. When we are not accompanied by staff we are allowed to swim in the "swim zone" that is right in front of our center. It is actually a pretty big area full with a lot of critters. I saw tons of fish (which I will begin learning the scientific names of as soon as we are done with our plant ID exam), a spiny lobster (Panularis argus), a barracuda, and other various algae and coral which I was practicing identifying. The water felt great and after snorkeling for about 40 minutes I took off my fins and just swam around for fun. I am getting a big swimsuit and watch tan line!
